We are now looking for a Project Engineer – Systems who wants to take responsibility for system design, requirements management, and technical integration in our product development projects. In this role, you will work at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, and software in an organization where product development and manufacturing are closely integrated, resulting in short decision paths and significant opportunities to influence outcomes.
About the role
As a Project Engineer – Systems, you are responsible for the product from an overall system perspective. You ensure that the various parts of the product function together as a coherent system and that customer and system requirements are translated into robust technical solutions. You are a key member of the project team and actively contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and verification and validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, structure, and manage system and customer requirements
- Break down system requirements into subsystem and component-level requirements
- Ensure and manage interfaces between mechanics, electronics, and software
- Support technical decision-making and participate in architecture and design choices
- Contribute to verification and validation planning
- Identify, analyze, and manage technical risks at the system level
- Collaborate closely with project management, product development, production, and other technical disciplines
Your Background
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in systems engineering or the development of complex products
- An understanding of how mechanics, electronics, and software interact within a system
- Experience with or understanding software and embedded systems
Meriting factors include
- Experience with or a solid understanding of electronics
- Experience in patent matters
