Area Sales Manager

Be part of an international sales team for a company that truly makes a difference in people's lives.

You will be responisble for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting the company’s professional product portfolio of wheelchair securement and accessibility solutions. This role involves supporting strategic sales plans within a designated territory, achieving revenue targets, and developing new business volumes.

Successful candidate

  • Based in Central or Eastern Europe (Fluency in English and German essential, other languages are an advantage)
  • Technical Sales background with experience promoting engineered solutions, preferably within the automotive, or safety-critical environment sales sectors (EU)
  • Enthusiastic and professional, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills across all modern platforms, with the ability to engage effectively at all customer levels
  • Willing to travel extensively across Europe (full driving licence and EU passport)

Main responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Territory Management

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as personal mobility, public transportation, paratransit, and emergency vehicles
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline via regular forecast updates to ensure consistent growth
  • Conduct regular market analysis and attend industry events to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas

Customer relationship management

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, conducting regular on-site visits to support product demonstrations and increase awareness
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers in designated geographical region, promoting product solutions, agreeing commercial pricing, resolving issues, and supporting overall business growth

Sales and Technical Support

  • Educate customers on the companies’ product ranges, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes and product presentations
  • Collaborate with customer service, engineering and product teams to address customer-specific technical requirements

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports and territory performance analyses
  • Use CRM tools (SFDC) to track customer interactions and sales progress
  • Provide regular updates to management on market conditions and customer feedback
