2. Your rights
According to the GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to control your own personal data and receive information directly from us about how we process your personal data. You may contact us using the details at the top of this page to exercise any of the following rights:
- Right to have your personal data erased (“Right to be forgotten”)
In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data deleted. This applies, for example, to data that (i) is no longer necessary to process or retain for the purpose for which the data was collected, or (ii) if you withdraw your consent for a processing. In some cases, BraunAbility has no possibility to delete your personal data. In these cases, the data is either still necessary to process for the purpose for which it was collected, BraunAbility’s legitimate interest in continuing to process the data outweighs your interest in having it deleted, or BraunAbility is required by law to keep the data.
- Right to be informed
You have the right to be informed about how we process your personal data, for example through this Privacy Notice, as well as through contacting BraunAbility via the contact information provided above.
- Right to access of your personal data
You have the right to find out whether BraunAbility is processing your personal data and to receive a copy of your personal data, a so-called data subject’s right of access.
- Right to data portability
You may, under some circumstances, request a copy of the data BraunAbility has about you and that we process, in order to move your personal data to another recipient.
- Right to correct data
You have the right to request that we correct incorrect or incomplete personal data.
- Right to object to restrict the processing of your personal data
If you believe that the personal data we hold about you is not accurate, that our processing is contrary to law or that we do not need the data for a specific purpose, you have the right to request that we restrict our processing of that data. You can also request that we do not process your data while we are checking this, or while we are checking whether you have the right to object to certain processing.
- Right to object to the processing of your personal data
You may object to our processing based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Observe that the right to object does not necessarily mean that BraunAbility is required to delete your data.
You can, however, always object to BraunAbility’s use of your personal data for direct marketing. To object to marketing, please contact us by e-mail or telephone as stated above. You can also click the “Manage my subscriptions and unsubscribe” link in the relevant email. This will allow you to remove yourself from that e-mail mailing list. You can do this for each of our email marketing communications. You are able opt-out of all communications except for certain service-related messages, such as order confirmations or important account-related messages. Upon receiving notification of your objection to the processing of your personal data, we will turn off marketing and thus stop sending you advertisements.
- Right to object to automated decisions
You have the right to object to an automated decision made by BraunAbility in the event BraunAbility utilizes this process and the decision significantly affects you.
- Right to withdraw your consent
In cases where we process your personal data based on your consent or explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- Right to file a complaint
If you have a complaint about BraunAbility’s processing of your personal data, you can contact us at privacy@braunability.eu or by telephoning +46 (0)302-24440, or you can contact Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection) through the following link. You can also file a complaint with your own national data protection authority, should you be based in another EU country than Sweden or in the United Kingdom

13. Updates
Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time and that any changes will be posted on this page.
During the course of 2019, Autoadapt AB changed name to BraunAbility Europe AB. Both names refer to the same legal entity (with the same corporate identification number), which means that no agreements, consents, etc. are affected by the change of name. BraunAbility Europe AB also has so-called special company names registered in relation to parts of its business. These are Autoadapt and BraunAbility Sweden. These special company names may therefore also be used, and these special company names relate to the same legal entity, i.e. BraunAbility Europe AB.
