Press Release

Stenkullen 1 September 2012

Two Swedish companies specialising in aids for the disabled – Autoadapt AB and FEAL AB – are initiating global collaboration.

As of 1 September 2012, Autoadapt is marketing and distributing FEAL's portable and vehicle-mounted wheelchair ramps.

FEAL and Autoadapt are Swedish manufacturers in the sector for aids for the disabled, with all development, planning and manufacturing on their own premises in Horndal and Stenkullen, respectively. FEAL develops and manufactures ramps, and Autoadapt has specialised in vehicle-adaptation solutions for people with limited mobility.
Collaboration is intended to strengthen both companies' positions in the global marketplace. Via Autoadapt, FEAL gains a well-established and global dealership network, while Autoadapt becomes the single-largest supplier of FEAL's highly regarded wheelchair ramps.

"Autoadapt has the industry's largest dealership network and is represented in 64 countries", says Mats Sundstedt, CEO for FEAL. "Through this alliance for growth, we create the freedom for investing in new sectors and new markets."

FEAL's wheelchair ramps, previously marketed under the Kvistberga brand, have now reverted to the FEAL brand name. The date 1 September 2012, the effective date for collaboration between Autoadapt and FEAL, is also the one-year mark for FEAL's collaboration with the sales company Kvistberga coming to an end in 2011.

"I'm proud to be able to introduce FEAL's wheelchair ramps to our dealers around the world", says Peter Wahlsten, executive vice president at Autoadapt. "These are high quality products that fit our product portfolio."
