Design Engineer (Sweden)

About the service
As as Design Engineer you will be a skilled engineer to carry out the day-to-day development work, design and drawing production to deliver these products. This will be a active role within the engineering team, working both with colleagues and independently to develop product and solutions as identified by the Product Manager, the BraunAbility NPD process or as a result of a Quality concern. 

 

Examples of other tasks can include:

  • Develop timelines to deliver new product develop

  • Ability to create prototype parts

 

About you
To thrive in the role, you will have good technical knowledge with preferably experience of worked with vehicle applications. You have knowledge of automotive technology and want to develop in the field of design. Your experience with 3D CAD will be good and you will have organised approach to work. You will have worked in a structured project environment and be familiar with tools such as Gant charts and DFMEA to minimise risk in the product development process. Knowledge of common manufacturing processes, especially relating to sheet metal is advantageous.

Having experience of vehicle safety systems and the associated regulations desirable. An understanding of the requirements to design and communicate information for serial production is important along with a good understanding of tolerancing. Experience in product and installation support would also be a benefit

Finally, you are passionate about innovation and have problem-solving analytical skills.

 

Form of employment
Permanent contract. The position falls under the white collar union collective agreement (Teknikavtalet) and is at 100%.

Demands
