We are now looking for a new team member to our Supply Chain team.
Key tasks and responsibility
- Day-to-day purchasing raw material and components from global suppliers in line with specified cost, quality, and stock turn targets
- Work closely with plants in the UK and Denmark
- Analyse constantly changing stock consumption and make stock holding and buying decisions to meet the business targets
- Provide timely service to other areas of the business (Product development, Project, and Engineering) to source new parts and provide quotations and lead times
- Analyse, evaluate and report supplier performance
- Report product cost changes and impact to the business
- Work alongside our Quality department to ensure product quality standards are met and within the requirements of the business quality system processes
- Work with cost down-projects
- Occasional travel to the UK and Denmark will be required
About you
With drive, interest, and initiative to challenge and improve the existing processes and ways of working we think you will succeed as a buyer at BraunAbility. We think you like to prioritize and proactively participate in and drive cost down/efficiency and resourcing projects. You have a proficient level of English as you will be communicating with suppliers in UK and Danish factories in English. For this position you need to have experience from MPS system.

The position is a permanent, full-time position and falls under the Union's “Teknikavtalet”. Start by agreement and the position is located at the European HQ in Stenkullen.
